Dog Sound Translator provides dog audio analysis and aims to handle your personal data and audio files minimally.
1. Information we collect
We do not provide account sign‑up and do not collect direct identifiers such as name, phone number, or address by default.
To count visitors and completed analyses, we transmit a random browser identifier, event identifier, language code, and page path; the server assigns the event time. Only hashed identifiers are stored; IP addresses, audio, analysis results, and dog names are not stored.
2. Audio data processing
- On‑device processing: recorded or uploaded audio is analyzed within your browser.
- Minimal storage: analyzed audio files are not stored by the service operator on separate servers.
- Local history: recent analysis history may be saved only in your browser’s local storage for convenience.
3. Cookies and local storage
We do not use login cookies. We may use browser local storage for recent history, theme settings, and a random browser identifier used for anonymous counting.
4. Third‑party services
Some features such as ads may be provided by external services, which may process data under their own policies. Please check each provider’s policy if needed.
5. Your choices
You can stop using the service at any time, and you can delete stored local data via your browser settings.
6. Retention and deletion
Analyzed audio files are not stored on servers. Hashed identifiers and event records used to maintain the total count and prevent duplicate or abusive submissions may be retained for as long as operationally necessary. You can delete records in browser local storage.
